Homeschool Curriculum Choices- 12th Grade

12th grade curriculumChoosing the right 12th grade homeschool curriculum can be challenging for sure!  Once you reach the high school years, things can get complicated.  Hopefully these suggestions will help you make good choices for your 12th grade students.

Below you will find our top choices for 12th grade Homeschool Curriculum.

Here are our 2018-2019 12th Grade Homeschool Curriculum choices:

Math-

We are continuing to use Teaching Textbooks through high school.  They have been a top choice for years and they seem to work well for us.  We have chosen to try the 3.0 version which is all online and this mama is super happy not having all those discs to keep up with.

English-

We are big fans of TGTB as a whole.  This is the first year jumping into the high school level language arts curriculum and so far we are very much enjoying the independent learning style.  The curriculum is very thorough and includes literature study, grammer and spelling, and art appreciation.

History-

We will be choosing between AOP Lifepacs and The Good and The Beautiful for our Government and Economics curriculum.  There are benefits to each, so we are really on the fence right now.  All of our students will be listening in on our Mystery of History readings as well.

Science-

We decided to go with DIVE science for both of our high school students this year, again because of the self-directed learning aspect.  We are wanting them to take more responsibility for their work and these classes are seeming to do that well.  They also offer online lab studies, so you are not required to purchase all the lab materials, which works very well for us.

Spanish-

Electives-

These are some options that we are considering for high school electives.  There is such a great array of choices- it’s hard to narrow them down.
