Influencer Networks- What are they and Why should I join them?
As bloggers, we all want to create the best content for our readers. With the literal millions of blogs on the web, how do you make a splash so others will see the hard work you put into your site? Many of us are more than just hobby bloggers and some of us need to make a living from the work we put in online.
There are many ways to monitize your blog- sponsored posting is just one of the options. If you have a smaller audience or are just starting out, one way to jump into the world of sponsored posts is via Influencer Networks. There are lots of choices when you start looking, but the key is finding the right fit for your niche. What is your main focus when blogging? Are you a product review site, a lifestyle blogger, a financial guru, or something else entirely?
There are options for everyone and opportunities for blogs with smaller audiences as well. The links below offer some of my favorite Influencer Networks- most of which I have personally worked with, either currently or in the recent past. Each of these networks are structured differently and have different requirements for acceptance. Some pay you a set fee, some are on a sliding scale, some offer free products, and others are a combination of these.
To apply, you will have to enter your basic information, add your social media stats, and answer a series of questions. This helps the network match your blog with brands that work within your niche. Some networks will reply within days and others take weeks, don’t be discouraged if you don’t hear back right away.
Here are a list of my favorite Influencer Networks
(some of these links are affiliate links and others offer bonuses for you to join- we appreciate your support)–
- ModernMom
- Social Native
- Blog Meets Brand
- Acorn Influence
- BlogHer
- Pollinate
- Influence Central
- Activate
- Heartbeat
- Everywhere Agency
- Buzzoole
- Inzpire.me
- Find Your Influence
- Webfluential
- Cooperatize
- Intellifluence
- StarNGage
- The Cirqle
- Valued Voice
- The Motherhood
- Massive Sway
- Clever
- Social Fabric
- Mom It Forward
- IZEA
- TapInfluence
These Influencer Networks vary greatly in their criteria for bloggers- many of them will work with smaller bloggers. Apply to as many of them as you’d like and don’t be discouraged if you are not accepted by all of them. If you have a smaller audience and lower page views, focus on creating great content and engaging your followers on social media. It will make a difference!

Thanks so much for these suggestions! I am really working hard to increase the exposure of my blog and joining some of these influencer networks is a great idea. I know it takes time to build authority. Hopefully this will help. Thanks for the help!

That’s an awesome list. I am working on monetizing my blog as well and I am looking at different methods that are available. More the merrier since it’s tougher for newer bloggers to accepted.

This is a grey area for me, I don’t know much about it. What is the minimum amount of page views or followers that these brands ask for when you try to join them?
Brent says
Hi Peter, I’m Brent from Perlu (the invitation-only platform mentioned in Jenn’s article). We don’t have a minimum following requirement, rather we focus on factors like content quality and audience engagement. We’d love to have you (and any of Jenn’s friends and followers who might be interested) come join us on Perlu and see what we’re all about. Fill out the form above so Jenn can send you and invitation. If you have any questions, feel free to connect/reach out to me on Perlu: https://www.perlu.com/profiles/bdscott3
